So Since the 6th of January, I’ve been whipping my butt into shape for all the reasons you can think of (i.e to be slimmer, to be healthier, to feel hot, to look sexy, for my vacation…etc) and I’m proud to announce that 2 weeks in, I have dropped a nice and solid 10 lbs of obese-ness (if that is a word).
My constant companions numero uno y dos estan (just had to showcase all my knowledge of spanish) have been water and FAGE (pronounced Fa-yeh….) the magic goodness in a cup. I specifically eat less food so I get to enjoy this yummy yogurt goodness. Just had a cup before writing this and I feel (*raises 2 thumbs up*) lighter.
I know this weight drop isn’t very apparent to my colleagues right this very moment but it soon shall. They say (I really don’t know who “they” are but I read somewhere...) that it take 4 weeks for you to see changes to your body when you lose weight. 8 weeks for friends and family to notice any weight loss and 12 weeks for the rest of the world. Hopefully I can go buy some smaller size clothing. (Shopping… YAY!!!…. oh, wait. I’m a poor student….awww).
Any-whoo, its been some hard work. Getting Waking up at 5, snoozing till 6 then hitting the gym (some days grudgingly) afterwards. But I am happy with my numbers so far. 10 pounds in 2.5 weeks? WHATT? Hmm, if I keep this up I would be completely transformed for my vacay woop woop 😀
I need to come up with a nice reward for myself after my first 20 pound weight destruction. Maybe a massage or a mani-pedi or a haircut. Hmmm, a haircut sounds tempting. I could go back to my TWA (Teenie Weenie Afro) days. We’ll see.
So on a sad but not so sad note, I received yet another rejection (email) letter today. Bummer but you know what, nothing is going to get me down. Nono no no. I refuse to get saddened by things.
Defense date has been set and I’m screaming in my head (ahhhhhhh). I’m too afraid to say the date out loud but I’ll whisper it to you. Come closer. Closer. Closer still…. pfftt SIKE!!!!
